1. Who we are

Genix (“Genix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a supplier of premium laboratory peptides for research use, based in Bekasi, Indonesia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website getgenixlabs.com (the “Site”), how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. Questions? 2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal data collected through the Site and our related sales and marketing channels (email, WhatsApp, and our contact forms). The Genix companion app is a separate service with its own Privacy Policy governing the data you enter there.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you join our email list, take a quiz, complete a contact or email-capture form, or enquire about or place an order with us (including over WhatsApp), we collect details such as your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, the messages you send us, and any shipping or order information you provide.

Information we collect automatically

When you browse the Site we collect limited technical and usage data — such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring source — through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies, analytics & advertising”).

4. Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use cookies and similar local storage to run the Site, remember your preferences (such as your language), and measure and improve performance. We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure and target our advertising on Meta platforms. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad personalisation through your Meta ad preferences.

5. Email marketing

We use Klaviyo to store contacts and send the emails you have asked to receive. We send marketing email only with your consent (single opt-in), and every email includes an unsubscribe link — you can withdraw consent at any time.

6. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide the information you request.
• To process, coordinate, and ship the orders you place with us.
• To send marketing communications you have opted into, and measure their performance.
• To operate, secure, analyse, and improve the Site and our advertising.
• To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

7. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers (“processors”) who help us operate, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Klaviyo — email list management and delivery.
• Meta — the Pixel, advertising, and WhatsApp messaging.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our customers, the public, or Genix.

8. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), the performance of a contract (to handle your enquiries and orders), and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring, and improving the Site and our marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights”).

9. International transfers

Some of our providers process data on servers located outside Indonesia. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take the steps required by applicable law to keep it protected.

10. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes described here — for example, to maintain our customer and marketing records — and then delete or anonymise it, except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation.

11. Security

We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the authorities of any breach as required by law.

12. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Indonesia’s UU PDP), you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update inaccurate data;
• delete your data;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• obtain a portable copy of your data; and
• lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

13. Children

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above; material changes will be communicated as required by law.
